Japan's 3 Great Gardens
Dear ,

Welcome to the 17th Dreaming Edition of the Japan Travel Trade Newsletter!

August marks the last month of summer in Japan, and while this typically busy month was a slightly quieter affair this year, it was still filled with hope and excitement with the Paralympics starting on 24 August and set to run until 5 September. Like the Olympics, they will be held without any overseas or domestic spectators, but the athletes are sure to appreciate your support.

This month we are bringing you a new e-learning campaign, an insider’s guide to the beautiful island of Yakushima and a new microsite for diving in Japan.

Insider Tip
#5: Tipping in Japan

Tipping in Japan is not customary nor is it expected. Yet Japanese people in the service industry are known for their high-level of customer service and warm hospitality, called omotenashi.
