#6: Attending a sumo tournament

Watching a live sumo tournament is an experience not to be missed! Tournaments are held in Japan six times a year at four different venues (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka). Advance tickets are usually sold from 1 month prior. You can view the grand tournament schedule for the next two years and book tickets for your clients with a credit card from the official site. General admission tickets are usually available on the day of the event.

Introducing Japan’s newest UNESCO World Heritage Sites
 
UNESCO recently announced two new World Heritage sites in Japan. 
 
The newest Cultural World Heritage site is a collection of archaeological sites in Hokkaido and the Tohoku region relating to the prehistoric Jomon Period. Find out more about this unique period and where your clients can experience it. 
 
The latest Natural World Heritage site consists of four stunning islands spanning Kagoshima and Okinawa Prefectures. Read our guide to discover why they’re each worth a visit in their own right.

Cycle the Ring Ring Road in Ibaraki Prefecture
