Using Helifix masonry repair products, a Grade II listed engine house, in the London Borough of Haringey, has been made structurally secure and turned into the working Beam Engine Museum. Before the bricked-up windows could be reinstated the arch lintels were secured with grouted CemTies while over 300m of stainless steel HeliBars were bonded into various mortar beds to secure and reinforce the masonry, stitch cracks and redistribute the structural loads to restore full structural integrity.
