ROCKWOOL IS APPROVED UNDER A NEW VOLUNTARY U-VALUE AND CONDENSATION RISK COMPETENCY SCHEME

Rockwool is one of only three organisations to be approved so far under a new voluntary U-value and Condensation Risk Competency Scheme recently introduced by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) in association with the Thermal Insulation Manufacturers and Suppliers Association (TIMSA). The scheme was designed in response to a widely held belief that many U-value calculations submitted were inaccurate. To address this problem Rockwool, along with other TIMSA members have worked with the BBA to develop a competency scheme.

ANDY IS THE INAUGURAL ‘PEOPLE’S CHOICE’ WINNER

Dickies innovative UK Worker of the Year programme has delivered the first recipient of its People’s Choice monthly award and it goes to mobile vehicle repair specialist Andy Rose. Throughout June people were able to vote for everyone who had been nominated for the overall UK Worker of the Year competition during the previous month and hundreds of votes were cast. Andy Rose emerged as the person with the most votes at the end of the voting period.
