Tower Hamlets Council is leading the way in using innovative natural resources in education. The Council is implementing its Primary Capital Programme (PCP) and aiming to reduce carbon emissions by 10%, applying state-of-art systems to achieve this, the council has installed Glidevale’s Sunscoop iPSV combined tubular rooflight and natural ventilation system. The standard Sunscoop uses a roof-mounted glazed dome which reflects daylight down a highly reflective tube through the roofspace/ceiling into the room below. More
MCVEIGH PLAYS ROLE IN STATE OF ART BUILD


Pioneering construction techniques developed by McVeigh Insulations have played a key role in creation of a state-of-art, sustainable learning environment at the new Sir Joseph Whitworth building at Stockport College. Tom Herd, senior design manager at Wates Construction, added, “SIPs, and McVeigh in particular, provided a value engineering solution. 2010 MASTER BUILDER OF THE YEAR AWARDS
