Bison Manufacturing supplied its precast Hollowcore and staircase products for a new upmarket housing development on the banks of the River Severn in Worcester. Housebuilder Taylor Wimpey used 5,400m2 of Bison’s 200mm Hollowcore floor units and 30m3 of its precast staircase products for a large block of new 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments. Yuill Homes’ apprentices Anthony Skinner and John Rudge, have been showing off their bricklaying skills in a bid to help inspire future construction careers. John and Anthony were chosen to carry out the bricklaying demonstration at Hartlepool College of Further Education, as part of a special open evening offering tasters of its many courses. During the evening, both showed off their bricklaying skills by building a five feet twisted pillar of bricks in front of dozens of visitors. More Website
