LABC PRESIDENT ADDRESSES COMMENCEMENT OF WORK CONCERNS AT ANNUAL RECEPTION
The 2010 LABC President’s Reception was held at the historic Trinity House in London on 7th  September. The evening was hosted by Andy Hardy, outgoing LABC President and Head of Building Control at London Borough of Brent. The president’s speech focussed on change in the industry, particularly the change LABC wants to see with regard to the commencement of work rule. It has been the policy of LABC to follow the guidance given by Circular 03/2002 which described commencement and stated that for the purposes of a site of multiple buildings, such commencement was for individual buildings, not the whole site. NEW CONTACT FOR ALFA LAVAL LIMITED IN IRELAND

Thomas Hannon became the principal representative for Alfa Laval in Ireland as from September 1st 2010. In this role, Thomas Hannon will be the company’s principal contact for:
  • Heat exchangers and other heat transfer equipment
  • Decanter centrifuges
  • High speed centrifugal separators
  • Refrigeration components including unit coolers and brazed heat exchangers
Thomas Hannon has a degree in Chemistry and previously worked in engineering sales for companies such as Busch Vacuum Pumps and the Jones Oil Company. More. Website.
