The long-established Andover business had to undergo strict vetting of standards such as guarantees and other documentation and even a police check on every employee who visits customers’ homes. Rosemary Clay Craftsman tiles from Redland were chosen to complete the roof of the ground-breaking refurbishment of Victorian buildings at the Building Research Establishment. The purpose the project is to trial a range of solutions to bring a solid wall building up to modern thermal insulation standards while at the same time keeping the original character of the design.
