DON’T use publications from publishers who do not embrace the rigors of ABC accreditation. It’s easy to be tempted by low rates and big promises but the trouble is that you have no guarantees; the easiest thing for any publisher to do when things get tough is drop the print run and not tell you. BEWARE.
DO negotiate; with the multi product publishing brands now available negotiation has never been so rewarding and cost effective. Many publishers have good value for money promotions at the moment.
