Confident You

How Confident are you?

People demonstrate confidence by being decisive, trying new things, being in control when things get hard to handle.  Self confidence is the difference between feeling unstoppable and feeling scared to death.  How you perceive yourself has a huge impact on how others perceive you.   How to build self confidence:

  1.  Dress sharp.  Clothes don’t give you confidence.  However, it does affect the way you feel about yourself.  If you look good, you will feel more confident.
  2. Work out.  Along the lines of personal appearance, is physical fitness.  Physical fitness will have a huge impact on your self confidence.
  3.  3. Stand up straight.  Good  posture shows a person to have more confidence.  You will make a positive impression on other.
  4. Learn to be assertive: be your own advocate. (a) Know what you want; (b) believe you have a right to it; and (c) find the courage to express it.
  5. Learn to say no.  Calmly say no. If you are pushed, calmly say no again and again.  Continue until you eventually just say no.  Stay in control.  You will get your point across without getting upset.
  6. When complaining, layer your complaint.  Make a statement of how much you enjoy the service or product. Describe your problem, then state how you would like the matter resolved.  Stick to your values. If you have specific requests for your family, request them.  If you don’t let your children have sweets sleepovers, don’t hesitate to simply state your wishes.
  7. Have courage to suggest change.  If a friend always picks what you are doing, have the courage to suggest doing something different.
  8. When something bothers you, state your case in a calm tone.  Do not use body language such as a sign or eye rolling.   These are nonverbal expressions of anger that you want to avoid.
  9. Compliment others. When compliment others, you will feel better about yourself.  Negative thoughts about ourselves are often projected to others in the form of insults.  To break negative thinking, be positive, praise others and you will build self-esteem.
  10. Be thankful.  When focusing on what you can’t have, you will find reasons why you can’t be happy and you will dwell on weaknesses. Avoid this behavior by being thankful for what you have, relationships, successes, etc. You will be amazing at how much more confidence you are when you are grateful for what you have in your life!

  • Air Perm

If we now hair chemistry, we should also knows that  there is a very safe way to perform a perm. First of all we have to determine if you are a candidate for a perm. Once we establish that, we go ahead with the winding and processing. At time of neutralization, if you are ok with it, we send you home with the perm rods on the head and you will sleep with them on. Now i will explain you what is a neutralizer. A neutralizer should be called oxidizer, because it contains H2O2 (Peroxide)with other chemical compounds, and by oxidation, it will fix the hair into the new position. In other words, the hair gets oxidized by the oxygen in the peroxide. So, why sending you at home with the rods on? Because the hair would get oxidized by the oxygen in the air. Next day you will be back to the salon for the finishing touch. The hair is healthy shine and natural.

That’s why we call the perm: Air Perm. A very healthy way to perm hair. Call for your consultation today.
