Millinery Documentary on Tour
In 2010 we were very lucky to be able to take advantage of a last minute opportunity to have a film maker follow tutor Waltraud Reiner to 4 of the 8 Millinery workshops held in the South West of NSW. From this a 50 minute documentary has been produced which highlights the towns, rural women, the landscapes and of course just how fabulous participating in Millinery workshops can be. DVDs can be purchased from South West Arts for $15.00.
Creative Producer
Full time - 12 month initial contract with 3 month probationary period. Based in the rural centre of Deniliquin, Outback Theatre for Young People (OTYP) is one of this country’s most innovative youth theatre companies; we engage rural and regional youth in collaborative, generative theatre projects that celebrate their lives and their aspirations. OTYP works with an innovative Artistic Directorate model where a small group of Artistic Directors, supported by the Creative Producer, work with the young people of a community to create original collaborative theatre works. This is an opportunity to head an innovative arts organisation, managing operations, shaping the artistic direction and developing the future of the company. This is an exciting time to join OTYP when, thanks to an Australia Council Geek in Resident Grant, the Creative Producer will work directly with an IT/digital art specialist. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, creative, self-motivated person who can balance financial responsibility with artistic vision and is equal to the challenge of administration. Applications close 5pm, Monday the 11th of April, 2011
