BIBLIOBOX in Swan Hill
BIBLIOBOX is travelling across Australia for the first time and docked at the Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery on the 19th of January. BIBLIOBOX marked the first event after the successful ACRE Seminar in November 2009 which featured local, interstate and international speakers discussing arts and agricultural partnerships with local farmers, artists, business owners and local government. The BIBLIOBOX event was an opportunity to open up discussion about the development of our own arts and agricultural partnerships. It was a fantastic evening highlighting projects from across the globe. By far the favourite being ‘Dinner with the Cow’s’ a short film involving a chandelier hanging from a tractor, a long dinner table set in a paddock and cattle truck arriving filled with humans??? Thank you to the Swan Hill Gallery and to Kim Bennett for bringing BIBLIOBOX to our community and offering an opportunity for excellent discussion about future partnerships.
