The 2010 Poetry Business Book & Pamphlet Competition
Dear poets,
We're delighted to announce that, in addition to their already very generous support of this year's Book & Pamphlet Competition, NAWE will also be offering all four winners the opportunity to have free access to Compass Points, their professional development planning and coaching service.
This will take the form of a 90 minute session, either face-to-face or by telephone, with a member of The Writer’s Compass team. The overall winner will also be offered follow-up telephone coaching. This is a great opportunity to explore how you can get to where you want to be in your writing life with the help of someone experienced, impartial and supportive.
So the prizes for this year's competition are now...
- book publication & six free copies (for the overall winner),
- pamphlet publication & 20 free copies (for three/four first-stage winners),
- a share of £2,000 prize money (donated by NAWE),
- a poetry reading hosted by The Poetry Business,
- publication in The North magazine,
- and a session with Compass Points, NAWE’s professional development planning and coaching service.
