Dear poets,
The next Writing Day will be held on Saturday 30 April.
As usual, we will be meeting at the Premier Inn on the corner of Angel Street and Bank Street (map) for the morning session, with half the group then heading over to our offices in Bank Street Arts for the afternoon.
The day will run from 10:15 am to 4:00pm, with writing exercises in the morning and a critical workshop in the afternoon. Please bring a poem (and ten copies) for the afternoon workshop – or better still write one up to discuss from the morning session.
Places cost £25 (£20 unwaged). Pay on the day – by cash or cheque.
It's not essential, but would be appreciated if you could let us know if you plan to attend.

Nell Farrell grew up in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, and loves sharing
her birthplace with D H Lawrence. She has since lived in Hull, France,
York and Liverpool but has now lived in Sheffield longer than anywhere
else. She works in social work education and as a creative writing
tutor.
Her pamphlet
The Wrong Evangeline was published by Panshine Press in 2003 and she is one of the authors of
Some Girls' Mothers (Route 2009).
