Poetry Business party
Dear friends,
The Poetry Business is having a party on the 25th of September and you're invited!
The event will be held at Bank Street Arts, starting at 7:30pm, and promises to be an all-round splendid evening, featuring:
- Jane Aspinall from Liverpool, a winner in our 2009/10 Competition, judged by Andrew Motion
- Gerard Benson, Bradford's poet laureate, whose collection A Good Time is launched tonight
- and the incomparable Michael Laskey of the Poetry Trust and founder of the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival.
