Reading in Sheffield tonight

Ann Atkinson, Paul Mills and Jane Routh, Friday 29th, 7.30pm at The Lantern Theatre.

Hope you won't mind a last-minute reminder about tonight's reading, and apologies for any cross-posting.  This brilliant event is our final one in the Off the Shelf programme (so won't be badgering you again for a while!).

Ann Atkinson’s pamphlet Drawing Water has won admiring reviews and she is known as a warm and entertaining reader of her work. Editor of Staple for seven years, she is currently the Derbyshire Poet Laureate. Paul Mills, poet and playwright, has produced his most exhilarating and ambitious volume to date,Voting for Spring.  Jane Routh has published two Poetry Book Society recommended collections which have won outstanding reviews and a Forward Prize nomination. Her stunning new book is A Gift of Boats

The Lantern Theatre is one of those little plush and comfy theatres with a splendid bar and a great atmosphere.  It's on Kenwood Park Road, S7 1NE.

Friday 29th, 7.30pm.  Tickets
are £6/£4 and you can pay on the door.

Do come along if you can.

Best wishes
from all at the Poetry Business
