Ways to Help the Traditional Irish Music Education Society Would you consider donating? Like most 501(c)(3) organizations, TIMES depends on the financial support of individuals, groups and businesses to exist.  We have been very fortunate to operate in the black since we began in 2004 despite the sagging economy.  The sole reason is we have had generous donations from supporters.  Here is how they have contributed: > Cash donations to underwrite specific events like the O'Flaherty Irish Music Retreat or the O'Flaherty Irish Music Youth Camp or scholarships for both.   > Matching donations from companies.  Many companies offer matching grants to non-profit organizations supported by their employees. > Donations of air miles or tickets to provide flights for our instructors from outside our area and vehicles to transport staff and students to and from airports. > Donations of merchandise for our drawings at the annual TIMES benefits in supoort of the Retreat and Youth Camp. > Donations supplies and services in support of our events, e.g., hospitality supplies for the Retreat, lunches for the Youth Camp teachers, printing of our fliers, photography, etc. > Donations of music items that we can sell at our booth, e.g., CDs, tunebooks, instruments, etc. Perhaps you can think of other ways to support TIMES and its work to assist and encourage people in their learning and playing of traditional Irish music through educational programs and performance events.  We welcome your support in whatever form you offer it.
