As your pet ages, diseases begin to emerge that often go undetected by even a very perceptive owner.  A lot of these diseases are not detectable by physical exam alone; bloodwork is often needed for a diagnosis.  Common diseases such as diabetes, kidney disease, thyroid disease, and liver disease, are easily detected with routine blood tests.  Early diagnosis is key for successful treatment!  This is especially true for our pets older than 7.
