NEW: Group Music Theory Classes

We are excited to announce that we will now be offering group theory classes!

For our RCM students, these classes present the opportunity to focus on theory concepts separate from their regular playing lesson time in preparation for RCM theory exams. Please Note: Our standard timeline and curriculum will not be adjusted to align with a student's exam date. It will be up to parents to book the theory exam that takes place after the program's completion.

For Yamaha group & Pianoforte individual students, these classes will help develop music theory knowledge outside of the regular lesson/class time. It also gets students used to converting the solfege notes (Do-Mi-So) they know, to their standard letter names (A through G). For students who may switch to the RCM curriculum in the future, this will make the switch easier as RCM uses standard notation as well.

Courses are separated by level:

Basic Rudiments for JMC4, YMC3, Pianoforte 5-6, RCM 3-4

18 weeks of 1 hour classes (18hrs total) | Price: $370

Elementary Music Rudiments, Basic book included

Intermediate Theory for JAC1-2, Pianoforte 7-8, RCM 5-6

18 weeks of 1 hour classes (18hrs total) | Price: $395

RCM Celebrate Theory books 5 and 6 included

Advanced Theory for JAC3-4, Pianoforte 9-10, RCM 7-8

18 weeks of 1.5 hour classes (27hrs total) | Price: $545

RCM Celebrate Theory books 7 & 8 included

Summer Lessons Booking - LIMITED SLOTS REMAIN!

Our school will be open for the summer! We are happy to continue offering individual lessons for all of our students, including those attending Yamaha Group Lessons! Summer lessons offered July - August provide a great opportunity to work on technicality, note-reading skills, catching up on the material that may have been missed during the school year, get extra practice with songs, and prepare for the next year.

Teacher availability - spots are limited!
Ms. Rose - Saturdays & Thursdays
Ms. Anica - Wednesdays and Sundays
Ms. Kathy - Wednesdays (full) and Sundays
Ms. Angelina - Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday (depends on demand)
Ms. Laura - Sundays
Ms. Angela - Thursdays and Saturdays
Mr. D - Thursdays (full)
Mr. Mahdi (Guitar & Piano) - Saturdays
Mr. Kristian (Violin) - Saturdays

Lessons are priced at $43/30min, $55/45 min, and $67/60min
charged to a credit card on file at the end of each month.

Magic Makers Program w/Mr. Kristian:

Under the instruction of Mr. Kristian, students learn to perform fun and amazing up-close magic, create personalized illusions, and build self confidence in public speaking, acting, performance art, and socializing with peers. Meet Mr. Kristian and see what he has to say about the program in the video linked HERE! Class takes place Saturdays afternoons for 1 hour.

Classical Guitar & Piano Lessons w/Mr. Mahdi:
Mahdi Vojdani is a conductor, composer, guitar and piano performer, and music educator with a deep passion for inspiring the next generation of musicians. With over 15 years of teaching experience including at the university level, and with several composing awards and instrumental albums, he brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to every lesson! Available Saturday afternoons in summer & Mondays evenings in September.

Violin Lessons w/Mr. Kristian:

Though typically a challenging instrument to begin, the violin is beautifully rewarding to the dedicated student. Under Mr. Kristian's instruction, students will learn to play in either RCM or Suzuki or a mix of both curriculums depending on age, experience, and interest. Beyond learning proper playing technique, performance, and expression, students also develop their standing posture and discipline for musical practice. Lessons available Saturdays and Wednesdays.
