Dear parents & students,
With Fall approaching, we are about to begin a season full of very exciting festivities! In the spirit of giving thanks, we would like to extend a warm thank you to our students, parents, and staff for joining us for another school year! There is a lot to look forward to!
21 DAY PRACTICE CHALLENGE
For example! In October we will be holding our annual school-wide 21 day practice challenge! All successful participating students who practice everyday for the first 21 days of October will receive a very special prize!
HALLOWEEN COSTUME WEEK
The fun continues with our Halloween costume week taking place October 25th-31st! Bring your Halloween spirit!
FESTIVALS & COMPETITIONS
On October 28th we will be hosting our first October Spooky Music festivals for older students to show their progress and spooky tunes! Also coming up is the Unionville Music Competition! Interested in these performance/competition opportunities? Let us and your teacher know as soon as possible!

Mark each day practiced on your practice tracking sheet with the provided stickers and hand it back to us after October 21st. Haven't receved the sheet?

This Halloween we will share the joy of music!
We will be hosting our second October Music Festival this year! This mid-semester recital offers our older individual and JAC/JSAC students an extra opportunity to perform for an audience. Anyone who would like to come out to view the concert as a guest is very much welcome!
88Keys October Music Festival:
Saturday, October 28th between 4:30 to 6pm (TBD)
At Trinity Anglican Church (79 Victoria St, Aurora, ON L4G 1R3)

Unionville Music Competition (UMC) 2023 |

The Unionville Music Competition (UMC) returns this year!
Young talents are welcome to enter into various competition categories which vary by age and whether entering as RCM or non-RCM curriculum participants. Registration is currently OPEN!
The registration & payment deadline is October 31st. We encourage all interested students to let their teachers know and to find out more about the competition from the UMC site! Click the buttons below for more information!

Calling all songbirds! Our vocal group class is coming back!
We are so happy to announce the return of our group voice program led by
Ms. Alondra! Here is another opportunity to enrich children's musical learning with mastery of the most unique instrument... their voice! This fun program works to help children develop confidence in their singing and speech, all to the tune of a variety of grooves including classical, easy jazz, and pop tunes!
We are looking to run our vocal class on Saturdays @9:35 AM for approx 50 minutes each. The program runs from October through June.

We are so excited to announce that we will be offering a new composition masterclass group program this academic year! Under the instruction of our teachers Ms. Alondra and Mr.D who hold a master of music composition, students will learn everything about composing and playing the songs of their own creative imagination!!
