Dear parents & students,
On behalf of the entire team, we would like to extend our warmest welcome to our new and returning students! We hope your summer has been restful and bright.
We are also sending an extra congratulations to those that have now successfully finished their RCM exams!
With that, we are now just two weeks away from welcoming you for the start of our 2025-2026 academic year! We are so excited to see you! Classes will resume on Saturday, September 6th.
This year, we have several exciting offerings beyond our individual piano and group keyboard classes! These include guitar lessons, violin and cello lessons.
Also, keep an eye out for a separate email about our group Music Theory classes, coming soon!

Both In-person & Online attendance are available!
We continue to offer a hybrid attendance model whereby you may attend classes in-person or online. The well-being and health of our students and staff are of utmost importance, and we kindly ask you to stay home and join the class online, if the student or accompanying adult exhibits symptoms of the common cold. While we understand the eagerness to attend in-person classes, we encourage everyone to prioritize their health and the health of others by opting for online lessons if any symptoms are present.
If you child suffers from seasonal allergies, asthma or other chronic conditions that may result in persistent cough and runny nose, please let the school and your homeroom teacher know before the class starts.

Online class access details including Zoom Link, Meeting Id and Passcodes are available as follows:
Yamaha Group Students can find these details in the weekly class reminders sent via email 24 hours prior to each class.
Individual Students will need to email us to provide the lesson zoom link.

Group Class Video Recording Access |

For our Yamaha Group Students, we will continue offering access to the video recording of the latest class. The video recording of the class will be uploaded within 24hours after the class completion and will remain available for 1 week until it is replaced by the next week's video. Due to system limitations, we are unable to keep more than one video per class.
Please note: Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill custom requests to hold class recordings to accommodate vacation schedules.
Recording Access: The video recordings can be accessed through student's Wellnessliving Profile. Access to the Student's Portal is available on our website under "Student Portal Login". Year 1 students will receive a separate email with detailed instructions on how to access the video recording of the class. Our Video Recording repository includes supplemental videos such as Year 1 Program Orientation, Basic Music Theory and more. We encourage you to explore all videos accessible to the students. You can access the music tracks for your respective class via QR codes included inside the front or back cover of your music books. Guitar Teacher
Available Mondays and Thursdays 4-8pm
Mahdi Vojdani is a conductor, composer, guitar and piano performer, and music educator with a deep passion for inspiring the next generation of musicians. With over 15 years of teaching experience including at the university level, he brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to every lesson.

Mahdi has been honored with accolades such as the Best Composer award at the Movie and Theatre Festival and recognition from the Global Music Awards. His artistic portfolio includes four instrumental albums and the publication of his book, he Piano Pieces for Life. His work spans composing, arranging, conducting, and performing internationally. He has conducted orchestras in various countries, and many of his students have gone on to be accepted into prestigious conservatories and orchestras around the world. Mahdi offers specialized programs tailored to music enthusiasts, helping them refine their skills in composition, performance, and orchestration. He seamlessly adapts his teaching across music curriculums with the goal to empower each student to reach their full musical potential.

Though typically a challenging instrument to begin, the violin is beautifully rewarding to the dedicated student. Under Mr. Kristian's instruction, students will learn to play in either RCM or Suzuki or a mix of both curriculums depending on age, experience, and interest. Beyond learning proper playing technique, performance, and expression, students also develop their standing posture and discipline for musical practice.

Video review: answer 3 questions in a short video about your experience with the Yamaha group classes at our school = 50 points for each student who appears in a video review, and 50 points for one parent (points not awarded beyond first parent's review).
