アタ・ウォン氏 来日中！
Ata Wong (ACC2021 Grantee, HK) in Japan
ACC2021年度個人フェローシップグランティのアタ・ウォンさん（香港）が1月9日より来日中です。
滞在中は地方にも足を伸ばしながら出来るだけ多くの人と出会い、沢山の経験を積みたいと自ら積極的に行動し、最近見つけた剣道場には毎日通うなどパワフルで充実した日々を送っていらっしゃいます。主な調査対象は居合術、狂言、人形浄瑠璃とのこと。
滞在中は舞台芸術関係者はじめ多くの方々との交流の機会を設けることができれば幸いです。

Please welcome Ata Wong (ACC 2021 Grantee, Hong Kong) who has been staying in Japan with ACC’s Individual Fellowship grant since January 9th.
After many years of working tirelessly as the director and artistic director of the physical theater group "Théâtre de la Feuille" which he founded in 2010, Ata decided to stay in Japan, mainly in Tokyo, for 6 months until July this year to conduct extensive research on Japanese traditional and contemporary performing arts.
During his stay in Japan, Ata hopes to interact with as many people as possible and to gain as much experience as possible, while traveling other parts in Japan. Ata is already spending his days in Japan in a very engaged and active manner: he goes to a Kendo dojo (gym of Kendo, traditional Japanese style of fencing) everyday that he happened to find only a few days after his arrival. His area of focus is Iaijutsu (居合術), Kyogen, and Ningyo Joruri (Japanese puppet theater).
ACC hopes Ata will have many exchange opportunities, not only with theater people, but also with many other inspiring people throughout Japan.

アタ・ウォン
1984年生まれ。香港出身。演出家・振付師・俳優・演劇講師。
2005年に香港演藝學院（The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts）のダンス科を卒業後、2008年に渡仏し、パリのジャック・ルコック国際演劇学校で学ぶ。彼は2年間のプログラムを修了した数少ない中国人アーティストの1人となった。 そこでさらなる研鑽を積み、2018年には同校の講師資格を取得。2010年に自身のカンパニー「テアトル・ド・ラ・フィーユ (Théâtre de la Feuille)」を設立し、演出家および芸術監督を務める。2018年、作品「Papa」で香港小劇場獎の最優秀監督賞（コメディ/道化芝居部門）にノミネート、また、 2019年、2020年には、作品「L'Orphelin」で同アワードの最優秀監督賞と最優秀総合演技賞を受賞し、IATC (HK) Critics Awardsにおいて、年間最優秀監督賞を受賞。現在、「テアトル・ド・ラ・フィーユ」演出・監督の他、香港演藝學院演劇科でフィジカル・ナラティブ／ミュージカル・シアターの専任講師を務める。

Ata Wong
Born in Hong Kong in 1984. Director, choreographer, actor, and theater teacher.
After graduating from the Dance Department of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2005, he moved to France in 2008 to study at International Theatre School Jacques Lecoq in Paris. He became one of the few Chinese artists to complete the two-year program. There he further developed his studies and in 2018 he obtained a teaching certificate from the same school.
In 2010, he founded his own company, Théâtre de la Feuille, where he serves as director and artistic director; in 2018, he was nominated for the Best Director Award (Comedy/Clown Theatre category) at the Hong Kong Small Theatre Awards for his work "Papa," and in 2019 and 2020, he won the same awards for Best Director and Best Overall Performance for his work "L'Orphelin" and was awarded Best Director of the Year at the IATC (HK) Critics Awards.
Currently, in addition to directing Théâtre de la Feuille, he is a full-time lecturer of Physical Narrative/Musical Theatre at the Department of Theatre at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts.
