ササ・カバルキントさんは、マニラ出身の舞踏ダンサー、振付家、映画女優など、様々な肩書きを持つアーティスト。今回、ACCの助成を受け、アメリカ・ニューヨークと日本を3ヶ月ずつ訪れ、これまで広げたダンサーたちとのネットワークを駆使し、多くのアーティストとのコラボレーションを試みます。
日本滞在中、東京、北海道、青森、京都などで日本人ダンサー達とのコラボレーションワークショップを行います。日本のワークショップでは、舞踏のかたちや動きの可能性を探求します。

Born in Manila, Philippines, Sasa Cabalquinto is an independent movement artist, Butoh dancer, choreographer, theater, film actress, and artist collaborator who pursues the different possibilities of movement in the works of Japanese Butoh form through collaborative arts. With ACC Fellowship, she visited New York last year and will stay in Japan, for three months each. In Japan, she will conduct collaborative workshops with Japanese dancers in Tokyo, Hokkaido, Aomori, Kyoto, and other locations. Through these workshops, she trys to explore the possibilities of Japanese Butoh forms and movements. She is now looking for a class that teaches Noh during her stay. ササ・カバルキント
フィリピン、マニラ生まれ。フィリピンにおける最初の舞踏家の一人。フィリピン先住民の知恵と儀式的舞踏を統合したKapwa Movementのプログラムディレクター兼創設者でもあります。アメリカ、ヨーロッパの舞踏家と共に、アジア舞踏フォーラム、ウィーン舞踏芸術祭に参加。2015年フィリピン・ポリテクニック大学演劇芸術学部学士号取得。アルビン・エラスガ・トレンティーノ・コレオグラフィア賞（2020年）など受賞多数。
Sasa Cabalquinto
She is the program director and founder of Kapwa Movement; an integrated form of Butoh dance in the context of Philippine indigenous wisdom and ritualistic practices. An awardee of Alvin Erasga Tolentino Koreograpiya Award 2020. She also received Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts at Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 2015.

アーノルド・ウォンさん（ACC香港 2021年度グランティ）

アーノルド・ウォンさんは香港出身の建築家・デザイナーです。学生の時に日本を代表する建築事務所SANAAでインターンとして働くなど、かねてより日本の建築物やアートに興味を持っていたアーノルドさん。2021年に設立した建築デザインスタジオにARTA Architects（ArtとArchitectを合体させた造語）と名付けるなど、建築とアートの融合を大きな目標として活動しています。
今回のACCグラントでの滞在は３週間という短い期間でしたが、瀬戸内の島々とアートの関係や、京都や軽井沢などに点在する建築物の調査から得たものは大きな収穫であったと語ってくれました。目下の目標は香港に自分の設計した建物を作ることだそうですが、今回の日本での経験がこれからの彼の建築家としての成長を促してくれることを期待します。
Born in Hong Kong, Arnold Wong has co-founded an architectural design studio - ARTA Architects with the core vision to deliver designs that blur the boundaries in Art and Architecture, for the enjoyment of the public community.
He has long been interested in Japanese architecture and art, including an internship at SANAA, one of Japan's leading architectural firms, when he was a student. He receives a 3-week Individual Fellowship to survey architectures throughout Japan. Especially, visiting Setouchi Islands would be an invaluable experience for his professional development and his further contribution to the built environment locally and internationally.

香港生まれ。建築デザインスタジオ「ARTA Architects」を共同設立し、建築とアートを融合させたインスタレーションを発表。HKIUD都市デザイン賞（2021年）、HKIAヤングアーキテクト賞（2020年）など多数受賞。
