蔡國強さんが芸術選奨を受賞なさいました！
蔡國強さん（ACC 1995-2021)が令和5年度芸術選奨を受賞なさいました。1991年開催個展「原初火球ーThe Project for Projects」を起点に、その約30年にわたる芸術的な展開をたどり国立新美術館で開催された「蔡國強 宇宙遊ー＜原初火球＞から始まる」展が評価されました。
Cai Guo-Qiang awarded the MEXT Art Encouragement Prize!
Cai Guo-Qiang (ACC 1995-2021) was awarded the MEXT Art Encouragement Prize for 2023 (the 74th) for outstanding achievement in the “Art A” category for his 2023 solo exhibition “Ramble in the Cosmos—From Primeval Fireball Onward” which was held at the National Art Center, Tokyo in 2023.

百瀬文さんがタカシマヤ美術賞を受賞なさいました！
百瀬文さん（ACC2016）が、第34回タカシマヤ文化基金タカシマヤ美術賞（現代美術部門）を受賞なさいました。
この賞は、作家のこれまでの活動と将来性に対して評価されるものです。映像を中心にパフォーマンスやインスタレーションなどを通して表現の幅を広げ、ジェンダー問題にも積極的に取り組むなど、新しいことへの柔軟性が評価されました。今後のますますの活躍も大いに期待されます。受賞コメントの中でACCの助成を受けてニューヨークへ渡航した経験について言及なさっています（詳細はこちらをご覧ください）。
Aya Momose received the 34th Takashimaya Art Award 2023!
The Takashimaya Art Award is given in recognition of the artist's past activities and future potential. Aya Momose (ACC 2016) has been creating video works and installations that examine the communication imbalance, questions of gender and sexuality, and the sense of discomfort that all emerge from the gap between one’s own body in relation to others.In her award-winning comment, she mentioned about her experience in New York as ACC grantee (check her Instagram for details).

やんツーさんがTERADA ART AWARD 2023ファイナリストに選出されました！
やんツーさん（ACC2023）は、新進アーティスト発掘を目的としたTERRADA ART AWARD 2023ファイナリストに選出されました。この受賞を記念した寺田倉庫ファイナリスト展が、今年１月に寺田倉庫イベントスペースで開催されました。
やんツーさんは、マルチメディアを基盤とした自立型の装置を使って、人間の身体性や表現の主体性を問う作品を制作することで知られ、昨今の活躍は多方面で高く評価されています。今年7月からACCグラントでニューヨークに半年間渡航されますが、現地でテクノロジーの問題への洞察を深め、アーティストたちとの交流を通して今後どのような創作活動を展開していくのか楽しみです。
yang02 has been selected for the TERADA ART AWARD 2023 Finalist!
TERADA ART AWARD is a contemporary art award designed to support emerging artists. yang02 (ACC 2023) was selected as a 2023 finalist and participated in TERADA ART AWARD 2023 Finalist Exhibition in last January.
He is known for creating works that ask questions about the human body and the subjectivity of expression through the use of multimedia-based devices. His recent activities have been highly acclaimed in various fields. As an ACC Grantee, he will stay in New York from this July for 6 months. We hope he will further explore issues in technology in New York and develop his new ideas through valuable exchanges with local artists.
