エスター・ルーさん来日!
Esther LU in Japan! 

エスター・ルーさんは、エコロジー・アートやオルタナティブな食とアートの実践を通して、コミュニティにおける学びや知識の共有に取り組むキュレーターでありライターです。日本でのフェローシップでは、農業や食の実践に取り組むエコビレッジや、山梨県の6okkenをはじめとするアート・コミュニティを訪問し、アートがどのように社会的、環境的、気候的な課題に対応しているか、またどのように地域の学びや協働を生み出しているかを探ります。地域での学びと経験を経て、新しいアートのキュレーションのあり方を模索し、持続可能な暮らしや共有の学びとアートをつなぐ実践に活かすことを目指しています。 

Esther Lu is a curator and a writer whose curatorial practice examines the intersection of ecological art and alternative food and art practices. During her fellowship in Japan, she will visit eco-villages that engage in agricultural and food practices, as well as art communities including 6okken in Yamanashi, to explore how art can support the development of community knowledge and collective learning in response to social, environmental, and climate changes. By engaging with local practices that link ecology, food, and art, Lu aims to reflect on how these experiences may inform new ways of curating that address ecological and social concerns. The insights from her research in Japan will contribute to her ongoing exploration of art as a medium for shared learning and sustainable living.

エスター・ルーは、アートの社会政治的役割やエコロジー的側面を探求するキュレーターでありライター。共学の実践や集合知の生成、革新的な媒介手法を通して、アートがケアや交流、変容を促す媒介として機能する可能性を追求している。近年の主なプロジェクトに「The Mountain Algorithms」（高雄市立美術館、2024）、「Mycelium Academy」（2023–24）がある。2013年には《This is Not a Taiwan Pavilion》を第55回ヴェネツィア・ビエンナーレの関連企画として発表。2021年に「Moss Piglets」を設立し、2015〜17年には台北当代芸術中心のディレクターを務めた。ロンドン大学ゴールドスミス校でキュラトリアル・スタディーズ修士号、スウェーデンのコンストファック芸術工芸デザイン大学で美術修士号を取得。

Esther Lu is a curator and writer exploring art’s socio-political roles and ecological dimensions through co-learning practices, collective knowledge production, and innovative mediation strategies, cultivating art as a medium for care and transformation. Recent projects include "The Mountain Algorithms" (Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, 2024) and "Mycelium Academy" (2023–24). Her project This is Not a Taiwan Pavilion was presented as a collateral event for the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013. She founded Moss Piglets in 2021, a curatorial research platform addressing ecological issues and future body politics, and served as Director of the Taipei Contemporary Art Center (2015–17). She holds an M.A. in Curatorial Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London, and an M.F.A. from Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Sweden.

アレクサンダー・デュボヴォイさん来日!
Alexander DUBOVOY in Japan! 

アレクサンダー・デュボヴォイさんは、即興演奏の実践を通して、多文化的、政治的概念を探求するピアニストであり作曲家です。日本でのフェローシップでは、独自の民俗音楽文化で知られる岐阜県郡上八幡市にて、米や酒の生産にまつわる労働歌の伝統を学びます。地元の酒蔵家や、前近代日本音楽の研究者でもある音楽家と協働し、酒造りの実践やフィールドレコーディングに着想を得た、新たな音楽の可能性を模索します。今回の滞在を通じて、音楽、労働、地域文化の関係性を探り、伝統に根ざしながら現代的な表現を考察します。即興演奏と文化的伝統、協働による創作の関係性の理解を深め、芸術的実践のさらなる展開を目指しています。

Alexander Dubovoy is a pianist and composer whose work explores transcultural and political concepts through the practice of improvisation. During his fellowship in Japan, he will study the tradition of labor songs associated with rice and sake production in Gujo Hachiman, Gifu Prefecture, a region known for its distinctive folk music culture. He will collaborate with a local sake brewer and a musician-scholar specializing in pre-modern Japanese music to conduct research inspired by field recordings and brewing practices. Through this fellowship, Dubovoy aims to explore the intersections of music, labor, and community heritage, engaging with traditional practices while reflecting on contemporary musical expression. He aims to deepen his understanding of the relationship between improvisation, cultural traditions, and collaborative creation to enrich his ongoing artistic practice.

アレクサンダー・デュボヴォイ

アレクサンダー・デュボヴォイは、即興演奏を通じて多文化的、政治的概念を探求するピアニストであり作曲家。《Portraits Drawn Without You》 を含む複数のアルバムをリリースしており、高い評価を得ている。日本、ロンドン、ベルリン、アテネ、ニューヨークなどで演奏を行い、ソロおよびグループで国際的な活動を展開。また、ベルリン工科大学と共同でコンピュータ音楽の楽器を開発し、ベルリンのSilent Greenで初演した。演奏活動に加え、Groupmuseにてコンサートの企画運営やオンライン音楽プラットフォームの開発に携わるなど、音楽の実践と教育・運営活動の両面で活躍。2016年にイェール大学を優等で卒業。

Alexander Dubovoy

Alexander Dubovoy is a pianist and composer whose practice explores transcultural and political concepts through the practice of improvisation. He has released several albums, including Portraits Drawn Without You, which has gained wide acclaim. Dubovoy has performed internationally at venues in Japan, London, Berlin, Athens, and New York, in both solo and group performances. He has also developed computer music instruments, premiered at Silent Green in Berlin, in collaboration with Technische Universität Berlin. In addition to performing, he is active in arts management and education, currently working with Groupmuse, where he organizes concerts and develops its online music platform. He holds a B.A. from Yale University, graduating in 2016 with honors and distinctions.

Yuki KOBAYASHI (ACC 2023) selected as Finalist for TERRADA ART AWARD 2025! 

TERRADA ART AWARDは、新進アーティストの支援を目的とした現代アートアウォードで、2021年にはじまり今回3回目の開催です。ファイナリストには制作費の支援として賞金が授与され、2026年1月に開催される「TERRADA ART AWARD 2025 ファイナリスト展」での展示機会が与えられます。
国際的な舞台で活躍し現代アートに深い見識を持つ11名の審査員による審査の結果、小林さんはファイナリスト5組の一人として選出されました！

下記の要領で開催される「ファイナリスト展」では、ファイナリスト5組の未発表新作を含む作品が個展形式で発表されます。

TERRADA ART AWARD is a contemporary art award started in 2021, designed to support emerging artists. TERRADA ART AWARD 2025 is the third edition. Finalists will receive a cash prize to help with their creation costs and will be invited to exhibit their work at the Finalist Exhibition.

Chosen by a jury panel of 11 with an international perspective and a deep understanding of contemporary art, Yuki Kobayashi (ACC 2023) was announced as one of the five finalists.

The Finalists Exhibition features works including unreleased new pieces by the five finalists presented in a solo exhibition format.
It will be held as follows.
