毛利悠子さん（2014年グランティ）カルダー賞2025を受賞
Yuko MOHRI (ACC 2014) won 2025 Calder Prize

 

毛利悠子さんが、カルダー財団が主催する2025年度のカルダー賞を受賞しました。2005年に創設されたこの賞は、アレクサンダー・カルダーの功績を現代に継承し、現代美術の分野で独自の表現を切り拓き、国際的な評価を確立しつつある作家に隔年で贈られます。
毛利さんの受賞に際して、カルダー財団会長のアレクサンダー・S・C・ローワー氏は、次のような声明を出しています。「ユウコの作品は謎めいていながらも親しみやすく、時間、空間、そして重力や音、空気、光といった目に見えない力など、多くの偶発的要素に左右されるリアルタイムの体験へと鑑賞者を巧みに引き込みます。祖父（アレクサンダー・カルダー）の作品との類似点を指摘するのは簡単ですが、ユウコの美学は強い共鳴を呼び起こします。彼女の創作活動が発展し成長するにつれ、美術史へのさらなる貢献を心待ちにしています。」

Yuko Mohri has been awarded the 2025 Calder Prize, the Calder Foundation has announced. The prize is awarded biennially to a contemporary artist whose innovative work relects the continued relevance of Calder’s legacy and who has demonstrated the potential to make a major contribution to the field. Upon Mohri’s award, Alexander S.C. Lowry, the president of the Calder Foundation, issued the following statement: “Yuko’s work is at once enigmatic and inviting, successfully drawing viewers into real-time experiences influenced by many random factors—time, space, and unseen forces such as gravity, sound, air, and light. While it is easy to draw parallels with my grandfather’s work, Yuko’s aesthetic is strongly resonant, and I look forward to her continued contributions to the history of art as her practice evolves and grows.”

潘逸舟さん（2014年グランティ）第36回（2025年度）タカシマヤ美術賞を受賞
Ishu HAN (ACC 2014) received the 36th Takashimaya Art Award 2025

 

潘逸舟さんが、第36回　(2025年度）タカシマヤ美術賞を受賞しました。この賞は1990年に設立された新鋭作家に対する賞で、１つの作品に対してではなく、その作家のこれまでの活動と将来性から選考されます。潘さんは、「国境、イデオロギーを超えた、芸術による対話をもたらすアーティストとして活躍が期待されている」という理由で選出されました。

Ishu HAN was awarded the 36th Takashimaya Art Award, which was established in 1990 to honor up-and-coming artists based on the artist's past activities and potential, rather than on a single work. Han was selected because he is “expected to play an active role as an artist who fosters dialogues through art, transcending borders and ideologies.”

「Tokyo Contemporary Art Award（TCAA）」は、東京都とトーキョーアーツアンドスペースが2018年度から実施している中堅アーティストを対象とした現代美術賞で、毎回2組のアーティストが選出されます。第6回目の受賞者には、いずれもACCアルムナイである潘逸舟さんとやんツーさんが選ばれました。
2026年3月4日（水）に、授賞式＆受賞記念シンポジウムが東京都現代美術館で開かれます。

Since 2018, Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Arts and Space (TOKAS) have been organizing the Tokyo Contemporary Art Award (TCAA) for mid-career artists in Japan. For the 6th edition of TCAA, two ACC alumni, Ishu HAN and yang02 were selected as the award winners. 
Award Ceremony and Symposium will be held on March 4 (Wed), 2026 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo.

代表理事交代および役員人事に関するお知らせ
Appointment of New Chair of the Board of Trustees and Executive Changes

一般財団法人アジアン・カルチュラル・カウンシル日本財団（以下、ACC日本財団）は、このたび、寺田倉庫株式会社代表取締役社長の寺田航平氏が、2026年2月10日付けで代表理事に就任いたしましたので、お知らせいたします。
なお前代表理事の麻生和子氏は、同日付けで理事に留任いたしました。

 

 

 

新代表理事就任について　 
Appointment of the New Chair of the Board of Trustees

 

寺田航平氏は、事業活動と並行して、アートを通じた街づくりやアーティスト支援にも積極的に取り組んできました。また、2022年よりACC日本財団の支援者組織であるファウンディングメンバーの一員としてACCの活動を支え、2024年10月に理事、2025年2月には副理事長に就任するなど、段階的に財団運営に参画してまいりました。

ACC日本財団は、新たな体制のもと、日本、アジア、そして米国のアーティストおよび研究者への支援を一層強化するとともに、文化交流を通じて、より調和のとれた平和な世界の創造に貢献してまいります。

 

Mr. Kohei Terada has been actively engaged in community development through the arts and in supporting artists alongside his corporate activities. Since 2022, he has been involved with ACC as a Founding Member of the ACC Japan Foundation supporter organization. He subsequently joined the Board of Trustees in October 2024 and was appointed Vice Chair in February 2025, progressively deepening his engagement in the Foundation’s governance and activities.
Under its new leadership, the ACC Japan Foundation will further strengthen its support for artists and researchers in Japan, Asia, and the United States, and continue contributing to the creation of a more harmonious and peaceful world through cultural exchange.

 

寺田倉庫株式会社代表取締役社長。三菱商事勤務や株式会社ビットアイル設立などを経て2019年より現職。東京・天王洲を拠点に美術品の保管、輸送、展示、梱包、修復、保険など美術品に関するサービスをワンストップで展開。国際的アートシティとして、天王洲のブランディングに取り組む。2023年4月より公益社団法人経済同友会 副代表幹事（現任）。

President and CEO, Warehouse TERRADA

After working at Mitsubishi Corporation and founding Bit-isle Inc., Mr. Terada assumed his current position in 2019. Based in Tennoz, Tokyo, Warehouse TERRADA provides comprehensive, one-stop services related to fine art, including storage, transportation, exhibition support, packing, conservation, and insurance. Mr. Terada has also played a central role in branding Tennoz as an international art district. Since April 2023, he has served as Vice Chair of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives (Keizai Doyukai).

このたび、ACC日本財団の代表理事を、初代の麻生和子氏から引き継ぐことになり、重責に身の引き締まる思いです。
日本と世界の架け橋であるACCの活動を通じ、国境を越えた文化交流をさらに深化させ、次世代を担うアーティストが多様な価値観に触れ、新たな創造を生み出せるよう、多面的な支援を通じて、その挑戦を後押ししてまいります。
