To keep up with our fast-changing world, we need to think creatively to achieve the most effective impacts. We know that small steps lead to big changes, and across Vietnam, safe school zones for every student are one step closer to becoming a reality thanks to the
Safe School Zones Guide Vietnam
(SSZ Guide).
Following the successful launch of the
Safe School Zones Guide together with the FIA Foundation and the Ministry of Transport in Vietnam, it can be downloaded here. The global launch of this
SSZ Guide marks a fundamental shift in how we safeguard our future generation on their journey to school.
Decisions for youth can only be made with youth, and therefore, we are delighted to celebrate the resounding success of our big data program,
AI&Me: Empowering Youth for Safer Roads. As the
AI&Me program wraps up across the three cities, we celebrate the following results: over 20,000 pins were scored to indicate high-risk areas using the Youth Engagement App, and over 1,800 young students were empowered with safe mobility skills.
In Thailand, we also work to empower students to have safe and equitable school journeys. Last month, in Bangkok, we joined forces with the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile and the Royal Automobile Association of Thailand for a safe skills mobility event at Wat Chanpradittharam School.
The impact we create around our region of the world, such as in Pleiku, is only possible with the incredible network of partners and friends we collaborate with. We are keen to see this impact all around the world, and therefore, at AIP Foundation, we supported the Child Health Initiative call for New York City to adopt #Sammyslaw to let communities create 20mph streets.
From fellow NGOs and community organizations to government agencies and dedicated individuals, these partnerships allow us to share resources, expertise, and reach. As a community, we are gearing up for the 4th Global Ministerial Conference in Marrakech 2025. Have you started preparing?
