Dear Friends and Supporters,
As we stepped into September, our team was delighted to attend the FIA Region II Roundtable 2024 in Cebu, Philippines. The successful event saw 16 regional Clubs attend and was hosted by the Automobile Association Philippines.
This month we were also delighted to join friends new and old at Safety 2024 in New Delhi, India. A few of our key highlights included sharing about helmet standards and helmet coalitions in the 'Leaving no-one behind: Powered Two-wheelers Safety in the Sustainable Development Agenda' workshop and 3state-of-the-art panel hosted by ADB, presenting the
VIA in Thailand program successes as part of the poster display as well as a series of knowledge sharing from our experiences with the
Safe School Zones Guide, the
AI&Me program implementation and advocating for cycling safety in Vietnam.
As the
Chevron Street Wise program continues making an impact in Thailand, we were excited to participate in the most famous event in Songkhla, Province: Pakk Taii Design Week 2024. Our team set up the special
Chevron Street Wise booth during this week promoting not only the program but also the 30km/h and helmet-wearing campaigns.
With youth empowerment in focus, our Vietnam program team greatly enjoyed a Fondation Botnar grantee meeting in Da Nang, to discuss and share our experiences on youth participation and stakeholder engagement in Vietnam as well as introduce our
AI&Me program to fellow grantees.
