Toys For Tots....Lincoln Style

Ace Hardware in Lincoln makes Toys for Tots a yearlong project rather than just during the holiday season. The store has collection canisters at their Pop Corn stand all year long. They also collect at their registers year round as well. The employees can donate a dollar on Fridays to wear blue jeans throughout the year. They end up with enough money to  to purchase toys valued at around $4,000 dollars to buy Toys, and as you can see in the picture below, they ended up with a truckload of toys. Great job Lincoln!

Another Christmas activity our Lincoln store had this year was a raffle for a custom made Wooden Rocking Cycle. All proceeds from the raffle going to the Toys for Tots Foundation. Pictured below are Jake Newman from Ace Hardware Lincoln, raffle winner Mike Sutton of Lincoln, and Donna and Jay Gaydosh from Toys for Tots Lincoln.
