There are literally hundreds of activities and culinary adventures awaiting you on Maui. We have an extensive list of ideas on our website here.
This month let’s look at luaus. Luaus are a must do event for many Maui travelers. We recommend three luaus depending upon what you are looking for. The Feast at Lele for best food, table service and fire dance. For the most authentic, The Old Lahaina Luau. With children you can show them the luau experience and fire dance at a discounted price at the Royal Lahaina Luau.
During the busy winter and summer seasons, you should call 2-3 weeks ahead to make a reservation. For the Feast at Lele, you MUST book at least 4 weeks ahead to get in. Here are the websites that will allow you to book those reservations:

Star Noodle Restaurant
A relatively new restaurant in West Maui is the Star Noodle Restaurant. Chef Sheldon Simeon is taking creative pan-Asian street food to the next level with his all house made noodles at this out of the way culinary find. We have been several times and it is a great place to order and share several dishes with friends and family. Reservations for parties of 5+ are available, but hard to come by, so the trick is to get their early at about 4:00 to 4:15 PM to avoid the long waits. This one is well worth seeking out!

CURRENT AIRFARE DEALS
Current best Maui fares are $398 round trip from Bellingham, WA and Oakland, CA. For Southern California, the best bet is usually San Diego and it is as low as $485 round trip. For other fare deals to Maui, look here.
