BROTHER DAVID WILKINSON APPOINTED TO SERVE Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy has announced that he is appointing APO Brother David Wilkinson, Alpha Delta Delta '97, to serve as Commissioner of the state’s Office of Early Childhood.

CONGRATULATIONS TO BROTHER ROBIN LOPEZ! Brother Robin Lopez, Mu Zeta '12, was recently awarded with a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (NSF GRF), a government-funded research program to develop the elite talents of America's future scientists and researchers.

DON'T FORGET! Make your contribution before July 31, 2017, in order to maintain your FY2016-17 Torchbearer status! The Alpha Phi Omega Torchbearer Fund supports the day-to-day operating expenses of the Fraternity. It provides much-needed revenue for things such as chapter services, membership records and operating funds for the National Office. Chapters receive supplies and materials, program materials are developed and taught and the National Office ensures communication throughout the Fraternity.
Torchbearer levels include:
  • Torchbearer - $75-$149
  • Silver Torchbearer - $150-$249
  • Gold Torchbearer - $250-499
  • Diamond Torchbearer - $500-$999
  • Silver Founders Circle - $1,000-$2,499
  • Gold Founders Circle - $2,500-$4,999
  • Diamond Founders Circle - $5,000 and above

BUILD YOUR LEGACY THROUGH SERVICE! APO is looking for alumni brothers to lend a helping hand. There are numerous ways to be of service with varying levels of responsibility. Here are a few ways that brothers can give of their time as an APO volunteer:
  • Serve as an Event Volunteer
  • Become an APO Certified Presenter
  • Assist as a Leadership Volunteer
  • Mentor and Guide as a Chapter Advisor
  • Serve on a Program Committee
  • Lead APO as a Sectional, Regional or National Officer
  • Help Extend APO to Other Campuses
