Brother Kay Hairgrove Krenek, Beta Sigma ‘79, is the 2014 Fall Pledge Class Namesake Honoree

Alpha Phi Omega is proud to announce Brother Kay Hairgrove Krenek, Beta Sigma '79 at Texas Tech, as the 2014 Fall Pledge Class Namesake Honoree. Brother Krenek has played an important role in the Fraternity's history as the first woman to chair a national committee, the first female elected to the Alpha Phi Omega Board of Directors and the first woman to chair a National Convention. In 1998, Brother Krenek received the National Distinguished Service Key. She has designed important logos for the Fraternity and assists with the ongoing development of the Torch & Trefoil.

Earn Money for Chapters with our New Shop2Care Partnership

Alpha Phi Omega has partnered with Shop2Care, a new nonprofit online shopping program, to help chapters easily earn money this fall!
Chapters will earn a dollar for each new person who downloads the Shop2Care browser app now through January 31, 2015, and you can help.

Here's how the program works:

  • Sign up and download the browser app by January 31, 2015, using the partner site here
  • Designate a chapter (using the school name in the drop down options) and that chapter will earn $1 when you register and download the Shop2Care app
  • The top three chapters who have the most people sign up and download the app will earn a bonus of up to $1,000
  • Those who register can shop online as they normally would and have a rebate from their purchases go to charity thanks to Shop2Care

As alumni, you can help a chapter continue the great work of Alpha Phi Omega, and your online shopping could help other charitable organizations in the process. This program is completely free! All you have to do is sign up and download the app, then share this with others!
