ACVH "marches" on in March!
At ACVH things are constantly moving forward!
If you follow us on Facebook, you will have noticed we changed our cover photo to showcase a Napa County Animal Shelter dog named Parker. He is one of the many pets up for adoption at the shelter. Our last cover photo Dora, found her forever home after being at the shelter for some time, so.. Hurray for Dora!!
We were also informed that Jerry, the dog from the Humane Society of the North Bay we featured in our last Pet Pipeline, has also found his forever home! Way to go Jerry!
If you are looking for something FUN to do, that helps support animals and the North Bay Humane Society, look no further! ACVH has entered the "Barkitecture" contest, and we invite you to join us at the People's Choice and Preview Party on March 22nd, at the Team Superstores in Vallejo! It is going to be a great time! Homeless!
Just one goal .. help these pets find their "forever homes"!
In this edition, we are doing a double whammy. These pets were from the same home. Unfortunately, their owner passed away. Understandably, we would love to place them together. But, two separate loving homes, are better than none at all.
Meet Autumn ..
Hi -- my name is Autumn. I am 4 years old. I am a very shy beauty who would like a patient person to love me and take time to mend my broken heart... (my owner recently died and I am a little confused). I have intense green eyes and am four years old. My coat is soft as silk and my disposition is peaceful, loving and warm. Give me a chance to be a loyal friend and companion and I just know we'll be inseparable pals.

I am 7 years old. Autumn is my sister and I too am a little confused after losing my dear owner. I am a little more outgoing and very attentive. I am adjusting to my new life. I love conversation and will most likely agree with whatever good things you have to say! A spot of tea and crumpets??? Perhaps I'll take a sip of milk and a tuffet if you please. I have a unique lovely coat of the colors of fall. Beautiful, just like me! I am seven years of age. Please come chat with me. I love to listen, make new friends, and have a peek at the world outside my window. I bet we'll be fast friends.

Does your pet know any cool tricks, or possess a special talent? Can you catch it on video? If so, you could win the ACVH "Most Talented Pet" contest! In honor of National Pet Month in May, ACVH wants to showcase your special pet!
On May 17th, ACVH staff will choose 3 finalists, BUT, our Facebook followers will decide the winner! The video with the most votes will be named ACVH's "Most Talented Pet" on May 31st!
