What's New At ACVH?

There's always something happening at ACVH!!

First, we are thrilled to announce we received the "People's Choice Award" for Multi-Pet Domicile, in the Humane Society of the North Bay's Barkitecture contest! The theme of this years contest was "There's No Place Like a Home". This was our first year to enter Barkitecture, and we had a blast! We will definitely be back next year!

On our "Facebook page, we recently featured a dog named "Clementine", she was a shelter pet at the Napa County Animal Shelter. We just received news that Clementine has found her forever home! Hurray for Clementine!! Our newest feature is Tootsie! You can meet her below in our Shelter Pet Showcase section.

We would also like to remind everyone that as we enter the warmer months of the year, it is important to keep your pets cool as well. Leaving a pet in the car, even for a short amount of time can be very hazardous! Click here for helpful pet safety tips from the Humane Society of the North Bay.

Spring has sprung, and the flowers are in bloom .. but did you know there are many plants which can be poisonous to animals? Watch this informative video from the ASPCA to learn which plants are toxic for your pets!
Celebrate With Us! ...

May 5th - 11th is National Pet Week!
So to celebrate, ACVH will be giving away a bag of treats to each client who brings their pet in to ACVH for an appointment!!
We appreciate all of our clients, and enjoy being able to serve our community!

Thank you for your continued support!

Shelter Pet Showcase!

Just one goal .. help these pets find their "forever homes"!

At ACVH we showcase shelter pets from both Napa County Animal Shelter and the Humane Society of the North Bay. We use social media such as Facebook, Pinterest, and the Pet Pipeline to promote pet adoptions for these organizations. It is always a happy day at ACVH when we learn one of these animals has found a forever home!

Meet Blue ..

Blue is a very unique and entertaining girl! And just look at that face! She is sure to melt your heart with just one walk! Blue LOVES being with people, and she even gets along well with other dogs! Blue would make a GREAT family pet! Please stop by the Humane Society of the North Bay  anytime during normal buisness hours and ask any staff member or volunteer if you can spend some quality time with this lovely little girl today, so you can get to know her better!

Some "Blue" facts .. Spayed • Up-to-date with routine shots • Primary colors: Gray, Blue or Silver, White or Cream • Coat length: Short

Meet Tootsie ..

Hiya! I'm Tootsie. As you can see from my smile, I'm a happy girl. In fact, I have a little bare spot on the end of my tail from wagging it against the sides of my kennel. I love people and other dogs. I'm very friendly to everyone. My hobbies include: walking, playing, rolling on my back for belly rubs, and cuddling with everyone! I'm told that I'm about as sweet as they come. If you are looking for a sweet, happy gal who's ready for a serious relationship, then I'm the one for you. Ask for Tootsie.

For more information about Tootsie, please visit the Napa County Animal Shelter  at 942 Hartle Court, or call 253-4382.
