Meet "Tiger" ..
Tiger is an 11 year old 26.3lb Maine Coon. At only 4 weeks of age, Tiger was found starving and terribly neglected. Grateful to be rescued by his owner, the "Gentle Giant" has since won the hearts of all who meet him. Unfortunately, through lack of proper diet and exercise, Tiger has become progressively obese. As a result, his hygiene habits have suffered, and his behavior as well. Tiger's owner decided she needed to make a drastic change, and reached out to ACVH for help. Through the collective efforts of ACVH, We Care Animal Rescue in St. Helena, CA, and Purina Veterinary Diets, Tiger has officially begun his weight loss journey. Follow along with us as we document Tiger's progress. He will weigh in weekly, and ACVH will post progress reports on our Facebook page! We wish him all the best, and hope you will enjoy Tiger's story as well!
Do you have a pet that needs to "Lighten Up"? Let us know! Is your pet already on a weight loss journey? Let us document it for you! We will post your pet's progress on our Facebook page!
At ACVH we believe a healthy pet is a happy pet! Just as it is in human health, proper nutrition and exercise are important factors in maintaining your pets wellness. We can help you determine your pets needs, and recommend the appropriate diet for your pet.
If you have any questions, or would like to know more ways to "Lighten Up" your pet, give us a call!
