Renew to Win- 2015/16 Membership Renewal Season Now Open

The 2015/16 renewal season is now open!

In a continuing effort to "go green,"  you can save time and postage by renewing online.  On July 1st and 15th, members were emailed instructions on how to renew via the ASB website.  Also, on the 15th hard copies of renewal invoices were mailed for members who do not wish to renew electronically.

This year, ASB is introducing a drawing for our Professional and Young Professionals.  Renew by October 1 and be entered to win a $200 American Express gift card!

ASB is committed to providing outstanding benefits, programs and services.  If you have any questions regarding the current renewal season or your ASB membership in general, please be sure to contact Amanda Gonzalez at agonzalez@asbe.org.
 Baking Hall of Fame Nominations

The Baking Hall of Fame is an initiative of the American Society of Baking to recognize industry innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.  The individuals selected into the Hall of Fame are recognized for their achievements in organizational growth and development, equipment design and innovation, advancements in ingredient technology and processing or related service to the commercial baking industry.

Nominations for the 2016 Hall of Fame are now being accepted.  If you nominated someone for the 2015 Hall of Fame, you do not have to re-nominate them.  The deadline for nominations is September 1.

Nomination forms can be submitted electronically or downloaded here.
 MarketPlace 2016

MarketPlace 2016 will bring changes and an enhanced exhibitor experience.  First of all, the MarketPlace will be in one meeting room with better lighting and has the feel of a ballroom instead of two exhibit halls.  Second, on Monday and Tuesday the MarketPlace will be extended by a half hour and will incorporate a one hour networking reception with a ticketed bar.  There will be conversation areas created for non-booth personnel to network.

As in the past, educational sessions will not conflict with MarketPlace trade show hours.  You will have the opportunity to meet potential customers and present your wares and services.  MarketPlace is a great place to catch up, share ideas, and learn about the latest in the grain-based food industry trends.

Look for MarketPlace information and registration to be available in October.
