Still Time to Submit: ASB Engineer and Maintenance Scholarships

ASB is accepting applications through June 1, 2017 for its 2017/18  Engineering/Maintenance Scholarship Program.  Your summer engineering student interns and maintenance/machinist employees can apply for five $4,000 scholarships to help them reach their educational goals and advancement within your company.

If you have a summer internship program for engineering students and/or a relationship with an engineering program at a nearby university, please share this program with them and encourage them to apply.  If current machinists and maintenance employees are interested in continuing their education and enhancing their skills by attending a program at a trade, vocational school or community college, please encourage them to apply.

The deadline for applying is June 1, 2017.  Selections will be made July 1 and awards will be made in time for the 2017/18 school year.

Baking Hall of Fame
Nominations
The Baking Hall of Fame is an initiative of the American Society of Baking to recognize industry innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

Why should you nominate someone?   Fred Springer of Burford and John Del Campo of REPCO explain why the Hall of Fame is so important to the industry.

ASB is now accepting nominations for the 2018 Hall of Fame.  If you nominated someone for the 2017 Hall of Fame, you do not have to re-nominate them.  The deadline for nominations is September 1.

Nomination forms can be downloaded here.
