The BakingTech 2018 Planning Committee is already hard at work developing the Society's next conference. ASB Chairman, Bill Zimmerman, Jr, and Program Chair, Theresa Cogswell, met with session chairs last week in Denver, CO to outline next year's program: Sustainability- Success Through People, Products, and Productivity. Reserve a Seat at the ASB/IAOM Electrical Training Course
ASB and IAOM have partnered with Lancaster County Career and Technical Center of Mount Joy, PA in the delivery of a 3-day electrical training course. This event will be held August 15-17 and the agenda will include a variety of topics related to electrical knowledge in the industrial environment specific to milling and baking.
Working with real world components, students in this "hands-on" electrical training course will learn how to identify electrical problems. For the novice or experienced electrician, this training course provides a no-nonsense, practical and real world systematic approach to electrical troubleshooting. Baking Hall of Fame is an initiative of the American Society of Baking to recognize industry innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.
Why should you nominate someone?
Fred Springer of Burford and
John Del Campo of REPCO explain why the Hall of Fame is so important to the industry.
ASB is now accepting nominations for the 2018 Hall of Fame. If you nominated someone for the 2017 Hall of Fame, you do not have to re-nominate them. The deadline for nominations is September 1.
