Presidential Notes:
The holiday season is upon us and, I for one plan to relax a little this month. As I write this, our family has just survived another Thanksgiving holiday which included the regular family get together on Thanksgiving day, moving my parents to a retirement home on Friday and attending the Mizzou vs. Texas A&M football game on Saturday. I don't know about you, but I think I need a vacation from my holiday.
This has been a very busy year at the St. Louis Audi Club. Our membership has continued to grow steadily all year, with new faces at almost every event. Our club calendar has reflected two to three club events every month and we, as a club, have made ourselves known at many outside events including Cars & Coffee, St. Louis European Auto Show, Autos on Valhalla, Street Survival and several track events at Gateway. Although we are a small club, we have a participation level envied by several other car clubs here in St. Louis.
We hope to continue this record in 2014 and, with your help, we will.
In additon to voting for new Board Members, you have an opportunity to express your thoughts, make suggestions and share your ideas from the comfort of your home or office until the 21st of this month. Just visit this site for the official ballot. Although only current member's votes will be counted, everyone's ideas are welcome.
Be sure to come out to Patrick's at Westport Plaza for our December social night on the 10th. We'll be celebrating the holidays, Missouri and St. Louis sports, and, of course, everything Audi!

For the Audi Club's December Social Night, we'll get together at Patrick's in Westport Plaza.

St. Louis Audi Club Board of Directors Election is Taking Place Now!
The annual St. Louis Audi Club Board of Directors Election is taking place now through December 21st.
Although the majority of board members continue to serve their three-year terms, candidates for open board seats are in need of your vote. You can also offer suggestions and ideas for events or activities for the Audi Club to provide in 2014.
Although only current member's vote will be counted, everyone's ideas are welcome.

Since we last spoke...
If you missed the St. Louis Audi Club's Gimmich Rally, you may have missed the event of the year. All the comments we received from participants were positive. Everyone enjoyed the roads, the beautuful weather and fall colors. Ted Richardson won the top prize, one hour of dyno time donated by ET Tuning, while all participants received many prizes donated by our sponsors. Thanks to JML Audio, Parktown Audi, ET Tuning and Plaza Audi for their generous support.
I was perusing Facebook after our November meeting at Crafty Chameleon in Ellisville and was pleasantly surprised to find a comment stating that "The Audi Club always seems to meet at the coolest places". I second that comment. If you aren't attending our meetings or social nights, you are missing out. Be sure to come out to Patrick's at Westport Plaza on Tueday the 10th.

More Upcoming Events. We hope to have a full calendar of events this year but we will need your help to make that happen. All our social events and meetings are open to everyone, member or not. However, you will have to be a member to participate in drives or track events.
