News from the Bookshop Friends,   What can one say about February? It’s an indecisive month, certainly, unsure just how many days it ought to have (but sure it doesn’t want to be like all those other months). The excitement and activity of the holidays are now indisputably behind us, but the greens and golds of springtime remain yet months away.   I find myself, most Februaries, itching (nearly always in vain) to be creative—to do anything to stave off the feeling that, from he

I thanked them for their kind words and went on to ask them why they liked our store. Suffice to say, they made my day, and brightened a very hectic day in the bookstore. News from the Bookshop As we have just celebrated Thanksgiving Day and approach November 11th to remember the efforts of those Canadians who have tried to resolve conflicts throughout the world, I began to ask myself why I am so fortunate and how this happened to me.
