Horse rides at Butte Creek
Butte Creek Scout Ranch offers both half-day and full-day rides for second-year Webelos, Boy Scouts, Venturers and other Scouts and their leaders. Boys get a brief introduction, then take off for a trail ride in the surrounding forest area. This is a great activity to put on your troop calender each year, as the Scouts will want to go back again and again. The ranch is also able to provide trail rides for other groups such as Girl Scouts, LDS girls, LDS youth mutual groups, and other organizations – just ask and let us help you find the perfect ride for your group. For more details, please visit the Butte Creek information page at www.cpcbsa.org/buttecreek
Wood Badge
I’ve heard that change is inevitable. Life happens . . . there are times that we have to change our plans or direction due to circumstances beyond our control. Did you wait just a little too long to register for the 2015 Wood Badge course? If it was your intention to attend this year, but you weren’t able to make your reservation before the limit for the course was reached, you can still register and have your name placed on the waiting list. This list is first-come, first-served.

If you are on the waiting list you do not pay anything until you actually secure one of the 56 spots – and we will honor the special edition patch incentive, which you will receive upon check-in at Camp Clark for the 2015 Course, if payment is made in full within a reasonable amount of time once a spot becomes available.
