Deadline for submissions is March 10, 2017.

Information about how to submit a manuscript is given on the inside back cover of each issue and at the CMC website at cmc-math.org/cmc-membership/communicator/call-for-articles/. All of your families can enjoy Mathematics together at a CMC Family Mathematics Festival!

ALL OF THE FAMILIES IN YOUR SCHOOL CAN HAVE FUN DOING MATH AT A MATH FESTIVAL!
A Family Math Festival is a powerful, cost-effective way to bring all of your parents and students together to experience a Common Core based evening or Saturday math fair.

YOUR MATH FESTIVAL WILL REQUIRE NO EXTRA WORK FOR YOUR TEACHERS OR STAFF. We do it all and bring everything for a successful school-wide event. Your Family Math Festival will be one of the easiest events your school has ever hosted!

ALL TK–8 STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS CAN CHALLENGE THEIR MINDS IN A MATH FESTIVAL! Our Family Math Festival is not an assembly on the stage—we set up a dozen or more multi-grade problem-solving activities with tons of hands-on materials for whole families to DO MATH together!

PERFECT FOR TITLE 1, PTA/PTO, AND LOCAL FOUNDATION FUNDING! A Mathematics Festival can provide meaningful parent outreach and direct involvement as required by state and federal programs because ALL your students, ALL your teachers, and ALL your families can be directly involved in challenging activities for all ability levels from transitional kindergarten to adult.

• Evening or Saturday Family Math Festival WITHOUT Student Math Festival….$1500… plus travel-related expenses*
*A detailed cost estimate is available upon request.
We also host all-day student Math Festivals where every student in your school including Special Education can be challenged by activities at their own level!

STUDENT AND FAMILY MATH FESTIVAL DATES ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH JUNE AND INTO THE FALL! To book a Math Festival for your school, contact: Paul Giganti, Program Director, or visit: http://cmc-math.org/math-festival-programs/ for more information.
