CARTER COUNTY CONNECTS

Hello coalition members,

Our CCDP April 2023 highlights include:

  • We hosted our annual "Kick Butts Day" Kickball tournament. We had nearly 100 participants of all ages who played kickball and received education on dangers of nicotine use. Check out the pictures below!

  • We continued our annual "Egg My Yard" fundraiser and youth coalition members egged dozens of houses with Easter surprises!

  • Nash had the pleasure of helping our friends from Elizabethton City Schools and Isaiah 117 House set up the 2nd annual Student Benefit Art Show at August Muse. Proceeds from the sold pieces were donated to Isaiah 117 House.

  • We had our quarterly board meeting and began planning our annual summer board and staff retreat.

  • Big thanks to Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist, Kahla Cobb for providing a community overdose prevention training at the Elizabethton Senior Center

  • Nash did a great job of organizing several locations for Drug Take Back Day.

  • Meagan and Nash received training in Stellar Sex Ed! Watch for classes coming soon!

  • Nash and Jessica participated in ETSU's Kid Power event.

Support CCDP this month by using our location if you need a background check! We now provide this service to our community at our South Hills location!

Thanks for your support. We could not do we do without our amazing community.
