Being Catholic is deeply connected to both physical and spiritual nourishment—whether at the family dinner table or the Eucharistic table during Mass.
If you've attended our annual Catholic Men's Forum, you know our guiding principle: first, nourish the body, then nurture the soul.
Neglecting proper nutrition and sufficient food can lead to health issues. Likewise, if you don't continually feed your spirit through the Word of God, worldly influences can creep in, causing you to revert to old habits and unhealthy patterns.
It's easy to overlook the profound truths and the essential practices of faith that are shared with you.
At our CMCS team meetings, local caterers generously provide food to express our gratitude for the hard work of our volunteer team.
Interestingly, the CMCS Team also purchases food for this volunteer director, so you could say he’s literally working for his meals—much like how you would treat a group of volunteers to pizza as they support your ministry in action.
This highlights the essential connection between physical and spiritual nourishment, both of which are crucial to our well-being. They are truly indispensable in our lives.
"WITHOUT doubt, we must pray lest we enter into temptation. This is denied by those who claim that God's aid is not necessary for humankind to keep free from sin and that the human will that merely knows the law is sufficient. Such persons should certainly be kept out of the hearing of everyone and should be rejected by the unanimous voice of all."
Saint Augustin, Human Justice, 44
With your generous donation to CMCS, you'll be contributing in meaningful ways, including:
1. Sustaining our online outreach ministry so it's accessible and free for everyone, while ensuring our emails arrive in your inbox.
2. Boosting our internet capacity to accommodate more bandwidth for video hosting and online meetings with larger audiences.
3. Supporting the CMCS apostolate, which focuses on uplifting and mentoring local Catholic men in the principles of authentic Catholic manhood.
So, gentlemen, you know the next steps to take. Thank you for your support and sacrifice.
