A note from the CMCS director
Vision: To Foster Catholic Men's Spirituality in Chicago Southland

Dear CMCS Men and Friends,
In light of the funeral for Pope Francis scheduled for Saturday, April 26, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Bishop Perry Catholic Men’s forum that same day. Many of you inquired about this, and we believe watching the service is the most appropriate way to honor our holy father. As Catholics, we are a family, and the Pope is our Father. We aim to reschedule the event for the end of May and will inform you of the new date as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

As Cardinal Cupich says:  " The finest memorial we can offer is to re-form our hearts as Pope Francis asked - to see our brothers and sisters, to listen to them and to offer our prayers and actions that all may experience the fullness of God’s promise. As we mourn his passing, I ask that God comfort us, but also strengthen us to remain steadfast in carrying on the work of restoring our Church’s place in the world as a source of hope and an advocate for those in need. "

Let Us Pray

...beginning in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, for the repose of the soul of Jorge Bergoglio, Pope Francis...

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at hour of our death. Amen.

We eagerly anticipate uniting with Bishop Bartosic as a community of several dozen men who are committed to enhancing our holiness in everyday life. We'll hold onto your reservation, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to me.
