2026 CMCS Online Ministry Updates
Dear CMCS Men and Friends,

As we enter the new year, many of us take time to tidy up, organize, and declutter both online and offline. This often involves sorting through closets and drawers, cleaning or renewing subscriptions, organizing our email inbox, and even reviewing our Camera Roll on our phones. In this spirit, CMCS is undertaking a similar effort with our website, blog, mailing list, and the way we communicate our online ministry. Likewise, we will send you a separate email in due time with updates on in-person events and activities planned. Below is an outline of our plans for the first quarter of 2026, and we will keep you informed as developments occur.
Mostly, we want to inform you that our mailing list service, BenchmarkEmail, is transitioning to a new platform. As part of this process, we have successfully migrated all your email addresses to the new system. Over the next two to three weeks, you may receive some test emails, and possibly a few duplicates of our weekly content. Please take a moment to check your folders to ensure these emails are reaching your inbox, including your spam, promotions, and any newsletter folders. Thank you in advance for your understanding and attention.
We have also enhanced the appearance and functionality of our website at CMCSmen.net. We utilize the Tumblr platform, which serves as a blend of website, blog, and social media. You can choose whichever format you prefer. The key difference is that the website includes links to various resource pages, while the blog does not feature these pages and links. If you join or use the Tumblr app and configure it for notifications you can comment and engage with others just as you would on Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media platform. Here are some short links, please bookmark them for easy access:
Why choose Tumblr?  1) You have the option to disable algorithms. 2) The platform does not participate in surveillance capitalism. 3) It boasts a vibrant Catholic community, including numerous priests, sisters, and deacons. 4) Owned by the parent company of WordPress, the CEO is Catholic. 5) Tumblr is not recognized for censoring or shadowbanning Catholic content. 6) Tumblr does everything we used to do for outreach with a full-blown website, at a fraction of the cost! ... and there's others.
Lastly, the future design of our emails will feature a clean and minimalist style. They will link you to the weekly gospel reflection, which we aim to keep to around one minute each, along with blog posts published once or twice a month. Additionally, I'll be sharing our usual Saturday bonus blog with a fresh twist, so I hope you will check it out!

CMCS stands out as we are part of a bishop-led apostolate, engaging our followers in meaningful ways between our events, unlike many Catholic men's ministries and conferences nationwide. We hope you find inspiration through this online ministry, and we welcome your feedback—feel free to reply to this message or connect using my contact information below.
Happy new year! May God bless you and your family where you need it most!

With gratitude,

Frank
