Papal Prayer for End of Pandemic
“Through the intercession of Mary, the Most Holy Mother of God, and of Saint Joseph, her spouse, we pray that next year will be happy for us and for all people, that the pandemic will cease, and that we will enjoy peace in our hearts, in our families, in our societies, and in the world.” |

The Holy Father's Intentions for the Month of January 2022
For true human fraternity: We pray for all those suffering from religious discrimination and persecution; may their own rights and dignity be recognized, which originate from being brothers and sisters in the human family. (See also https://www.popesprayer.net/)

Get Ready For Bishop Perry's Catholic Chicago Men's Forum!
Topic: Authentic Christianity Lived
Gentlemen, we've not met for a live Men's Forum since 2019, so let's make plans to gather in community on Saturday, April 23, 2022 for Bishop Perry's Men's Forum. Put this in your calendar and invite other men you think might benefit. This will be our 18th year.
The keynote speaker will be Father Ryan Brady, who is a new priest with a dynamic message. Plus, Bishop Perry will inspire us as usual during the Mass. And remember to come hungry, as our motto is 'feed the stomach, then feed the soul'. For updates subscribe to the CMCS general mailingl list if not already.

Manhood Quote For The Month
“When a man loves a woman, he has to become worthy of her. The higher her virtue, the more noble her character, the more devoted she is to truth, justice, goodness, the more a man has to aspire to be worthy of her. The history of civilization could actually be written in terms of the level of its women.”
― Fulton J. Sheen, Life is Worth Living

As the sun and the moon rise and set, day by day, our lives seem long but are really short.
This is why every word we say must count, and every interaction with others must have positive and lasting impact.
God brings us true beauty with the changing of the days, if we look for it, and we likewise can bring true beauty to the world.
"Small things done with great love can change the world"
- Saint (Mother) Teresa of Calcutta
