Time To Celebrate!

Independence Day is a civil holiday for the celebration of the anniversary of the beginnings of national independence. Specifically, July 4 is observed as a legal holiday in the U.S. in commemoration of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

"Freedom consists not in doing what we like, but in having the right to do what we ought."

~ Saint John Paul II

Sometimes we get so busy with priorities, obligations, and agendas that it is easy to forget what is most important:  Relationships with God and others.

For this reason, lets take some time this 4th of July holiday weekend to prioritize our relationships? Spend meaningful time with the person's who are important to us and our life, and let them know this. Do the things that show them this.

In the business world we are taught that you don't get a second chance at a first impression. There is much in life today that recycles but, with the years we have left, God willing, what is the lasting impression that OUR life makes on this world?

As a Catholic man, husband, or father, your family, wife, or children, need your influence more than they may tell you ...  or even know!

After you die is there evidence that you have lived?

With the freedoms you are given, who or what do you place at the center of your life?

“The best traditions of your land presume respect for those who cannot defend themselves”

~ St John Paul II
