Fellow CMCS Men,
Over the eightteen years that I have been writing this message, I can't recall bringing up my "feelings."
Because I am a man. My primary emotion is nothing. I just go about my day, doing stuff. Guys, you understand.
It's hard not to get emotional with the men I engage with all the time who are struggling and inspired by what CMCS does for them.
It is very clear to me how men need to talk ... now more than ever.
We beat ourselves up, especially when we can't see that we're not alone with our feelings .. then it's not so bad.
This is why our financial appeal this week to expand CMCSMen online is so important. It doesn't take much money for CMCS to be online, but it seems a lot of money when we don't have all we need to complete it.
Catholic Men Chicago Southand Apostolate and CMCSMen Online runs on the generosity of many charitable givers. Please consider aiding this mission with a gift of your own! Great or small, it will impact the lives of many.
Your generosity will help hundreds of seekers - Chicagoland Catholic men - who will surf into our website this year. It also means many men will join our amazing Men's Forum - English, and (soon) Spanish and Polish. Men will return to their faith after years or decades .. and bring their family.
I am seeing this.
We always need help paying the bills, even though our banker says we're one of the most efficient and creative Catholic Apostolates with our donors dollars. And we've done everything debt free since 2004.
