Dear Readers and Friends of CMCS Online, |

Now that this is costing more, I plan to still continue the practice because it is not about cost but rather about investment. Have you never met a person who does not enjoy getting a letter in the mail? Mailing a personal note is a cherished tradition in America, and it is a way to show how much we care about someone, to get to know each other better, and to show gratitude. ... and more.
Since the invention of the Internet, it is amazing the communication that can be done online for a very low cost. And I am amazed as well how you can still not replace the personal connection of sending a note across America for less than a buck in postage, and it usually gets delivered in less than a week. Some people have even put my cards on the wall as a decoration, not for the picture, but for the meaningful words shared - To God be all the Glory!!
Likewise, when you donate to CMCS it doesn't take much investment for you to make a big impact. Not only because we have a small budget with a big audience, but also because we are all volunteer and function debt free.
I know you should give to your parish first, yet, when you count the cost I hope you will also see CMCS apostolate as a valuable investment. And we have deep gratitude for the generosity of your sacrifice considering the present economy.
With your donation, you are helping us to invest in reaching out to more Catholic men and parish communities, while also nurturing the spiritual growth and holiness of long-time followers. Thank you for your generosity!
Let us pray for each other,
Frank

Once again, as you consider your ability to give, please take into consideration:
- We have never had financial reserves: CMCS Apostolate / CMCSMen.net is entirely user-supported, trusting day by day in God's providence and depending totally on the generosity of the people we serve.
- We do not seek to raise more funds than we need: our resources are distributed absolutely free of charge, reaching thousands men around the archdiocese of Chicago each year—at a cost of only pennies per person served.
- We are committed to keeping costs at a minimum: The CMCS Team is all volunteer, and the director earns no full-time salary, and no rent or utilities costs are incurred as we utilize home offices, keeping our annual budget less than $4,000!
